The action is great, the comedy is hilarious and the acting is above-par for a teen flick. A Knight’s Tale is a winner on all fronts.

The story might be a little familiar but A Knight’s Tale tells it in an engrossing and entertaining way. You know young Will is going to change his stars and defeat the baddie (played wonderfully by the incredible, and adorable, Rufus Sewell), but you love waiting for it to happen. Another awesome Girl’s Night In Movie, or a good date movie.

The Secret Life of Bees is one of those great tear jerker movies that packs a heck of a punch from the very first scene. At times, it’s not easy to watch. You feel so much for Dakota Fanning’s charater, Lily, that seeing what she goes through is a harrowing experience. In the end, though, you are rewarded with a rich, fulfilling movie that makes you appreciate you family and friends.

The Secret Life of Bees is destined to be a tearjerkers classic and I definitely recommend having tissue nearby throughout the movie. Dakota Fanning is a force to be reckoned with; far surpassing the ‘child star’ label. This girl isn’t good for her age, she’s just plain good – outacting not only most actresses her age, but most actresses (or actors) overall. Let’s just hope she keeps her wits about her and doesn’t go all Britney/Lindsay on us. She has far too much talent to waste.
