As always with Jon and Kate Plus 8, Kate is pushy, Jon is a doormat and the kids are adorable. This time, however, Jon is home alone overseeing the renovations while Kate takes the kids on vacation. It’s a welcome change from seeing the typical Jon and Kate drama.


This particular episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 is worth watching just to see how adorable those kids are. So cute!

Everything is set up for the seasons ahead -  Ross’ awkward and adorable crush on Rachel, Monica’s man problems, Joey’s charming dim-wittedness, Chandler’s sarcasm and Phoebe’s unique world view. All the elements are present in the Friends pilot and David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt Leblanc and Lisa Kudrow already appear comfortable with their characters. We fall in love with these people, and that love only grows as the series progresses.

The Friends Pilot is a classic in TV chickery. Watch it for the first time, or watch it again to relive the beginning in of the the best sitcoms on TV.
