Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is fun for the whole family – a family film at it’s best. Within the first two minutes I had melted more times than I can count. The animals are absolutely adorable! When the fairy puts the skunk to bed and tucks it in with a leaf… awww…. what else can be said? This movie is far too cute for words.

Aside from the adorable animals, Tinker bell and the Lost Treasure offers a story that is fun and touching, some moderate action scenes and some creepy looking rats. There is no real villain which is so unique in a movie these days.

The Nightmare Before Christmas isn’t really a traditional chick flick, but it’s really not a traditional flick period. For that reason alone, I think everyone should see it at least once.

Everything about The Nightmare Before Christmas works. I personally wasn’t frightened of any of the imagery but I can see how come people would be. Just keep that in mind, and you’ll be fine. It isn’t a horror movie. It isn’t a Christmas movie. It isn’t a Halloween movie. It’s just a good movie.

It’s also a love story. Jack and Sally are one of my favorite movie couples of all time. They’re so sweet. It’s hard not to hope they end up together in the end. Do they? Watch the movie and find out.

Cinderella

This is without question my favorite animated Disney movie, but one of the best chick flicks ever made. It has everything we love – an unassuming, quiet girl whom nobody ever pays much attention to, unless its to abuse her in some way, is swept off her feet by her dashing prince. It’s the blueprint for nearly every chick flick ever made, and it’s done so beautifully.

The animation in Cinderella is classic and timeless. Cinderella is beautiful. Her step-sisters are appropriately fugly and the prince is handsome. The little animals that help Cinderella along the way are so adorable I could just squish them with love. And the fairy godmother is so motherly and warm. Sure the actual animation is crude compared to today’s animated movies, but that’s part of the appeal.
